Two Down, One To Go

It is hard to believe, but there is only one month left of summer! I actually started looking up the books I need for my classes this coming fall...how sad is that?!? However, although the summer always seems to just fly by, I have taken full advantage of all the free time I have had.

Last week I took a little summer vacation out to Washington, DC. It was a great time. The weather was super hot but well worth it. I have been to DC before, but I always enjoy going back. It is such a monumental city (no pun intended!) and you could go back a hundred times and not see everything there is to see.

This time around I checked out all the monuments and memorials on the National Mall, stopped at a few Smithsonian museums, went to the National Zoo, and (my favorite spot) went to the Newseum! Yes, the Newseum! The most interactive museum in the world all about news. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to go. They have a lot of cool exhibits and some fun interactive things too. The picture below is of me trying out the "Be A TV Reporter" exhibit. It was pretty fun, not to mention great practice! I also have some other pictures, check them out!
