Less Than One Week
I have been waiting for Election Day to come for a long time! It is one of my favorite nights of the year. Now that may sound pretty nerdy, but seriously, it's like reality TV being played out...and I get a vote in it! This election has focused a lot on younger voters. If you're 18 or older, I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to get out and vote! Our country is in such a unique situation right now, and we as American citizens have the opportunity to have our voices heard. Whomever you support, get out and make your voice heard!
I was planning on watching about five different news stations with a bunch of my friends on Election Day night, but I just found out yesterday that St. Thomas is sending five student journalists to each party's headquarters here on Election Night to cover the election...and...I'm going to be covering the DFL party! I'll get to hear speeches, bump elbows with other Twin Cities media, and basically cover the biggest story of the year! Perhaps the greatest part, I get a sweet press pass that I have to wear around my neck! Dorky? Maybe. Exciting? TOTALLY!
Well that's about all I know, better get back to work. Have a great last week of listening and watching campaign ads!

I'm Going to "Bob My Head"
I'll be the first to say that I am not a big country music fan, but tonight I am going to see Rascal Flatts at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul. As far as country music goes, I must say they are pretty decent so it should be a good time. My girlfriend really likes them, which is why we're going. I don't know many of their songs, but I'm looking forward to it. I'll let you know how it turned out.
This week was MUCH less stressful than last week. I really didn't have any big assignments or video projects due which helped a lot. Next week though looks like it will be busy again. It's hard to believe that midterm time is just a couple weeks away! My how time flies when you're having fun. One sure sign that the fall is speeding by is the changing colors of the trees. Campus really looks great this time of year. Maybe Patrick (a fellow blogger) will post some more pictures of campus on his blog. If you haven't seen his other pictures, click over to his blog and take a look, he's pretty good!
Well better get back to work. Have a great weekend!
