Classes Have Begun!

It's the first full week of class, and everyone on campus is getting back into the swing of reading, studying, and surviving class. Classes actually began last Wednesday. I have some pretty good classes this semester and I am excited to see how they will play out. I'm taking all communication and journalism classes this semester. My favorite so far is broadcast reporting. The professor is a former reporter here in the Twin Cities area and he knows his stuff. I can't wait to learn more about the business from him.

Outside of class I've been meeting up with my friends whom I haven't seen all summer. It was great catching up and hearing about how their summers went. Some of them were pretty busy with jobs and internships while others just took it easy.

Tonight I have a class called political communication. I am really excited for that because I think it will be a great discussion class. With the election being the way it is, there are many different things to debate and topics to discuss. It's a night class so it meets for three hours once a week. Sitting in the same classroom for three hours straight might get to be a little long, but hopefully the class is interesting and the time goes by fast.
