One year ago, Alex Maki was about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He liked his major, and he had experience working with people who have mental health disabilities, but he was not sure what career path to take.

Building Peace Without the Weapons

Peacekeeping is not just for armies. There are groups that specialize in non-violent intervention in conflict areas all over the world that don’t carry guns, drive tanks or fly fighter planes. One of those groups is headquartered in Minneapolis.
