Employment Opportunity in Evening MBA Admissions
The Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas is accepting applications for a Manager of Marketing and Enrollment for the Evening UST MBA program. This position develops, adapts and deploys recruitment strategies that support the promotion and positioning of the Evening UST MBA and other Opus College of Business programs, driving the admission and enrollment of highly qualified professionals.
The Manager of Marketing and Enrollment is responsible for the execution of recruiting events; personally contacting and meeting individually with prospective students to provide admissions counsel and guidance; making admission recommendations; managing recruit and admit correspondence; developing initial degree plans; coordinating first semester enrollment; achieving annual enrollment goals; measuring and reporting results of recruiting activities; and capturing and proactively sharing market knowledge with other marketing and enrollment managers, the program director and other stakeholders as appropriate to support the improvement of the quality and competitiveness of the program.
Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in higher education recruiting or equivalent sales and marketing experience.
We are looking for candidates with strong sales and relationship management skills; ability to articulate a compelling value proposition for potential applicants by integrating the educational and career aspirations of business professionals with the Evening UST MBA student experience and curriculum; polished written and oral communication skills with a passion for delivering presentations and interacting with prospects at various events; proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and Web-based tools; familiarity with database systems; ability to excel and contribute in a team environment; prioritization and time-management skills; and the ability to work with diverse populations.
