Ask the Advisor - Dr. Helpful

Dear Dr. Helpful,

Is there some place to print my class papers?

Sincerely,
Tanisha

Dear Tanisha,

Every student at St. Thomas is given a quota (allotment) for "free" printing and will be charged a per-print fee over and above that allotment. The allotment will be $40 for fall, $40 for J-Term/spring and $40 for summer. Each semester is defined as follows:

August 19 - January 1
January 2 - May 19
May 20 - August 18

The $40 allotment is equal to 400 black and white (160 color) letter-size prints. Each page printed beyond $40 will be charged back to the student at a rate of 10¢ per black and white (25¢ color) standard print.

You can use the UST library computer labs and printers to print your coursework. The computer labs are located in Minneapolis, Keffer Library, Opus Hall, lower level and in St. Paul, O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library, first floor.

Regards,

Dr. Helpful
