Fall Registration - Classes are filling up!

Registration for fall 2008 is open now! If you have any questions or need assistance, be sure to contact your academic advisor.

Registration for HRDO courses in the School of Education will open Monday, August 4, 2008.

Registration for ETLS courses in the School of Engineering for fall is open now.

Registration for SEIS courses in Graduate Programs in Software is also open now.

Remember, electives tracks can be supplemented with courses in:

· Master of Science in Real Estate (go to this site for more information: http://www.stthomas.edu/business/degrees/specializedmasters/msrealestate/about/default.html)
· Manufacturing (limited to 4) (ETLS) (see this link for syllabi and course descriptions: http://www.stthomas.edu/engineering/graduate/courses/default.html)
· Software (limited to 4) (SEIS)
· School of Education (limited to 4) (HRDO)
· Master’s of Business Communications classes (BCOM) (NOTE: MBC courses at the 500 level may be used as MBA electives.)

Study Abroad in January 2009

J-term 2009 Study Abroad applications are still being accepted for Berlin and Hong Kong. Although both courses are full right now, a wait list is being kept in case spaces become available. So, if you are interested, get your name added to the wait list right away!

You can check your degree evaluation in Murphy on-line to see if you meet the graduation requirements and also contact your academic advisor.

Whether or not you plan to attend the Friday, December 19 ceremony, you need to submit the online graduation application.

National Black MBA - 2008 Scholarships Available! Apply NOW!

Each year, scholarships are awarded to students pursuing their MBA. The deadline is June 20, 2008!

Since 1993, the Twin Cities chapter has awarded over $160,000 in graduate and undergraduate scholarships. In 2007, $38,000 in scholarships was awarded by the Twin Cities Chapter and its corporate and educational partners.

Across the country, the National Black MBA Association and its affiliated chapters have awarded over $1 Million in graduate business scholarships since 1998.

TAP Grant for 2008

If you are a continuing student, you are eligible to apply for a TAP grant. The application can be found on the Student Life Blackboard site under "Tuition/FinAid." The application deadline is August 15, 2008, for a fall 2008 award.
