National Association of Women MBAs Invites You to Join

The National Association of Women MBAs is dedicated to empowering women MBAs and graduate women in business; to propel more women into leadership positions in corporate America; and to enhance the diversity of the nation’s workforce.

The UST chapter facilitates the development of UST MBA programs and UST MBA students by sponsoring educational, community-building, and networking opportunities that empower UST MBA women to face career and organizational challenges in a proactive manner.

Evening students are welcome to join the organization, but because your tuition does not include association fees, a fee of $25 is due (Please make check payable to UST with NAWMBA in the memo and send to Kay Wimer at UST, Mpls campus, TMH100). Once your association fee is paid, you will be added to our email list to stay informed of networking and educational events. Deadline to join and be included on membership roster at national is 9/15/08.

We are having our first meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from noon-1pm.

The 2008 NAWMBA Conference, Career Fair & Case Competition will be held October 24-25, 2008 in the New York City area at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Stamford, CT. Please note case competition deadline is 9/6/08. Evening students can compose a team; contact Student Life if you are interested. Early conference registration deadline is 10/1. You must be a member on our roster to receive a membership discount.

Important Deadlines:
9/6/08: Case Competition deadline
9/15/08: Membership deadline
10/1/08: Early conference discount deadline
