In June 2008, the UST MBA faculty approved prerequisites changes for the curriculum!

We have had some exciting modifications approved for the Evening UST MBA curriculum, resulting in even more flexibility within the program. You may be able to take electives sooner than you thought!

There were two major changes approved by the Faculty Curriculum Committee:

Effective June 2008

Prerequisites for Ethics:
Any four core courses

Prerequisites for Electives:
Topic-related requirements*
Five core courses completed
Exception - may register for an elective in J-term or Summer semester after completing two core courses and gaining academic advisor approval

Before June 2008

Prerequisites for Ethics: DSCI600, MGMT600, ACCT601, and BLAW600 or MKTG600 or GBEC600

Prerequisites for Electives: DSCI600, GBEC600, ACCT601, BETH601, MGMT600 and topic-related prerequisites*

Please contact your academic advisor if you would like to discuss your program requirements or academic status. We’re always glad to help with any questions or problems!

* For example, if you want to take an upper-level, graduate FINC elective, you must have taken FINC600, the core finance course, beforehand.
