Global Opportunity - MBA Enterprise Corps
The MBA Enterprise Corps is in the process of recruiting for our Summer July 2008 program. This summer we will send MBA grads to on-going programs and/or new projects in Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Georgia, Ghana, Mali, Moldova, and Sudan.
The MBA Enterprise Corps—a division of Citizens Development Corps—strengthens entrepreneurs, enterprises, and economies through the deployment of recently-graduated MBAs from the top 50 U.S. business schools for long-term volunteer assignments with the goal of encouraging economic growth in developing nations and emerging economies around the world. MBAEC covers all expenses- transportation, medical insurance, housing allowance and monthly stipend.
You may be interested to know that from 2003-2008, the MBA Enterprise Corps has fielded 26 year-long volunteer business advisors/consultants to Africa, 24 to Europe and Eurasia, 13 to Central Asia, and 3 to Latin America and the Caribbean through the funding of US government agencies, nonprofits, global consulting firms and multinational corporations. Since the MBAEC’s inception in 1990, over 1000 advisors have strengthened over 4,000 institutions, enterprises, associations, and entrepreneurs in over 30 countries on 4 continents.
