In 2007, the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school district joined 21 other districts in the Schools for Energy Efficiency (SEE) program. The program has three goals: reduce annual energy use 10 percent, achieve Energy Star certification for schools, and get students and teachers involved. Energy is being saved but how much isn’t clear, but what is clear is that students and teachers are getting involved.
